The Howler is Costa Rica’s premier English-language magazine. Published monthly (first week of every month), it is in its thirteenth year, with 144 issues extant as of this month.
The Howler is distributed in hard copy in San José, Liberia and Santa Cruz, and along all the Pacific beaches between Playas del Coco and Junquillal, also in Playa Jacó and Quepos.
Howler content includes columns on surfing, yoga, development, ecology, music & CD reviews, Gold Coast happenings, local schools, photo gallery, health, computers, horoscopes and various feature articles.
