Tamarindo has a crime blog at tamarindocrime.blogspot.com.  If enough people report their crime via tamarindocrime@gmail.com, we may be able to see patterns that will help us find the crooks.  Meantime, get a security system – call SIP in Tamarindo, or security guru Terry Anderson, 2653-2279, for details, and be careful with person and possessions.

After the rainiest season in many years, we have slid into summer, but still with a delightful shower on some afternoons.  While many took their usual trip “back home”, some stalwarts stayed and braved it out – and survived.  Remember: whatever doesn’t kill you makes you strong.

Nice to see the moon and stars again.  And there is a nice grouping in the Western sky after sunset, with Venus, Mercury and Jupiter very close.  The full moon on the 12th is closer to us than in 15 years, giving large tides.

More promises!  That the road to Langosta will be paved before the end of the year, after a big effort to raise the final $30,000.  We look forward to completion of this critical project.  Por fin!

Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year.
